Browns moving up? The Browns have reportedly offered the Titans 12 and 19 to move up to 2. Well here's what I think the Titans would do with that: The Titans would take 19 likely and trade it to San Diego for their pick and Phillip Rivers. Sleep tight my friends,, the Draft is only 1 night away.

Draft week rumors are flying. Everyone you keeps saying The Browns are trading 1 if not both 1st round picks. Today's latest rumor has the Browns trading 12 and 19 up to number 4 with Oakland as well as other players involve. This only happens if Tennessee passes on Mariota.
I've got and idea for the Browns, what about trading 19 and their 3rd rounder to the Cardinals for Larry Fitzgerald. Yeah what about that one. There you go guys, there is my latest trade rumor I just created myself and this one sounds less crazy. Philadelphia Is in New Orleans. my prediction: Soul caught napping by Voodoo. Voodoo 54-53.
I went 2-0 yesterday. 3 games tonight. So let's go:
Spo over Orl: Shock em ya'll. 60-58. Ari over LA: Kissing those losses. 61-38. SJ over Por: Thunder nearly pull it out. 59-58. Week 5 is tonight. Last week i went 4-1 in my picks. 14-9 now on the year. Predictions:
Jax over Las Vegas: Sharks in a tough one. Las Vegas has played well since the 2nd half of their first game but the young team falls on the road here. 59-52. And It's Cleveland over Tampa: At 2-2 the Glads have dropped 2 in a row but they have played tough and have been victim to terrible penalties. The key thing here I'd like to see is a sense of urgency. I feel the Offense has been sort of anemic that past 2 weeks playing slow. Let's pick it up Glads! 58-50. The NFL Draft is fast approaching. The Cleveland Browns hold two picks in the first round at 12 and 19. They have been involved in many pre draft scenarios. So here are some rumors mixed with my own predictions:
1) The Browns trade up to #2 and select Oregon QB Marcus Mariota: With all the rumors this one just won't go away. Experts have them putting a package together involving 12 and 19. Do i think it will happen....no. Could it happen absolutely. It could happen if the Browns feel that Mariota is their franchise guy virtually admitting they messed up on "Johnny Football". The Browns wouldn't hesitate if it only costs them 12 and 19. I think Tennessee would want the Browns to surrender i believe pick 43 and next year's #1 as well. Verdict:4 picks for 1 guy..ummm...no. Not unless he's the next Peyton Manning. 2) The Browns trade with San Diego for Phillip Rivers: The Chargers are in the middle of the Browns two picks at 17. The Browns could trade 12 and 19 to the Chargers for their pick and Phillip Rivers. Why this might work: The only thing this costs the Browns is 1 pick and the Chargers therefore would gain a pick. The Chargers realize Phillip Rivers has a contract that is running out and might find this to be a great time to deal and get value out of Rivers. The Browns would get a better suited Veteran QB that would be able to better teach Johnny Football. Why it might not work: Phillip Rivers stomps his foot. 3) The Browns stay put: There could be some choices for the Browns if they stay put. Below are some key players that would help the Browns though some might feel they arent the sexy pick: DT Malcom Brown from Texas: not a sexy pick but run stopper, pass rusher the Browns could use. A safe, secure pick. NT Danny Shelton from Washington: another safe pick that could play a run stuffing role. WR Dorial Green-Beckham from Missouri: Speed...only if he can stay out of trouble. WR Breshad Perriman from Central Florida: you really can't ignore his 40 time. TE Maxx Williams from Minnesota : a pass catching tight end that could line up wide and produce mismatches in certain passing situations. OLB Dante Fowler Jr. from Florida: can never have enough linebackers. Might be able to put on a few pounds and play the role of a defensive end in certain situations. QB Rakeem Cato from Marshall: Here is a pick the Browns can take towards the end of the draft. This is a low risk, high reward pick. I really liked what I saw from him anytime i caught his games in the last 4 years. A QB i believe has the tools to make all the throws of the NFL. Obviously this is just a sample of who the Browns can draft. I know there are other reciviers and such the Browns are interested in heading into the draft. So until next time enjoy this preview. 3 games tonight round out week 4. Prediction time:
Orlando over LA: LA kissed to 0-4 by Predators. 56-27. Ari over Por: Thunder keep it close but not enough. I could see this going the other way. 49-45. Finally it Cleveland over Philadelphia: Don't worry be Happy Glads! 65-59. Week 4 is here. Two games are up for tonight. Before my predictions, two facts heading into this weeks games: I'm 10-8 in my predictions. Home teams thus far are just 7-11 through the first 3 weeks. The way the weekend sets up may see the home team continue to struggle. With that here are my predictions for tonight:
Tampa over New Orleans: Yes home teams are struggling but I see Tampa in an entertaining game. 53-51. San Jose over Jacksonville: Clevan Thomas is back. I'd like to say Jacksonville but special teams are killing them. If I lose this one I'd believe it. 63-62. The Cavs are about to embark on a journey in the playoffs that can very well lead the to their first NBA title in franchise history. The first round begins Sunday afternoon for the Cavs against the Boston Celtics.
The Outlook: The Cavs and Celtics split the season series 2-2. You could very well put an * on the two losses with most of the starters sitting. Boston is scrappy but when the Cavs were in mid-season form they beat down the Celtics. How I see the series going: Cavs win 4-1. Could I see a sweep...yes. Will it happen. ..I don't think so. Look for the Cavs to win games 1 and 2 here in Cleveland. I will give Boston the nod in only 1 game on their court just because this is the playoffs and the Cavs starters now haven't been there besides LeBron. Game 5 will be time to close the door on them in Cleveland. Wishful Thinking: How a sweep might happen: LeBron goes beast mode on everybody in his path and carries this team on his back to round two. This first series LeBron might use it to teach his team that when it's time to take care of business, you do so and do so promptly. Relax Cavs, you still have a whole other 2 month season left, but it's up to you. Are tonight. I won yesterday. Here are the predictions for tonight:
New Orleans over Orlando: A hunch. 58-54. LA over Las Vegas: LA with a tough task but tonight's about the home team. 47-43. Finally my Cleveland over Arizona: HAPPY GLADS SNEAK PAST RATTLERS. SPECIAL TEAMS WILL PLAY BIG PART. 64-59. |
